Chinese Punk

The Fred Perry Shirt was picked up in Lyon (France), thrown into a suitcase which in turn found itself travelling like its owner in an Airbus 330 to Shanghai. I got my sorry English arse through customs and the FP found itself back in the country it was made in.

Here, in the Yuyuan Garden on the zigzag bridge a young Chinese girl asked if she could have her photo taken next to me.

In 1842, during the Opium Wars, the British army occupied the Town God Temple for five days, in 2009, as a punk rocker I was here in peace presenting the new generation with a brighter image of old Albion.
