Coming of Age

I am now 18 and this is my story. I have always had a love for rock indie music growing up in Bury and Liverpool, such as Oasis (if you can love a band at 3).

Fast forward a little going into Year 7 at school (11 years of age) where everyone tries to be the big 'i am' listening to rap/hip hop. I fell into this category trying to fit in then the sudden reality check once i got my first ever fred perry shirt!

I was 14/15 and started getting into fred perry alot and, because i was luckily enough to afford it, had many items that are fred perry. I ditched the rap music for my love for New Wave( i didnt want to kid myself anymore). New Wave came from my Dad but also my love for FP due to the fact i needed the music to go with the look. I finally found who i was and what I stood for, not trying to 'fit in' but be me.

Maybe it was a coming of age but FP certainly helped me discover who i am today and i thank you for that.
